Breakfast and After School Clubs

Breakfast Club

At Hertford Junior School we are pleased to be able to run an early morning breakfast club. This is all part of the wrap-around care that the school is able to offer to our families. 

Times: 07:45 - 08:30 

Price: £3

Sessions need to be booked using ParentPay. Information about the administration of Breakfast club is on the registration form  Complete a registration form and hand it into the office or send it to admin@hertfordjun.brighton-hove.sch.uk. We will then open up the booking system for you on ParentPay

After School Club (Hub Club)

After School Childcare is normally catered for in Hub Club. This runs during term time on the Junior School site from 2.55pm until 5pm Monday to Thursday and until 4pm on Fridays.

 

All places must be booked and paid for half termly in advance. Booking is co-ordinated by Ms Bunce at Hertford Infant School. Please contact her directly on 01273 552931 or hhc@hertfordinf.brighton-hove.sch.uk to register and book a places.

After School Enrichment Clubs

We have a variety of After School Clubs at Hertford Juniors to enrinch the school day and to provide excellent opportunities for all children outside of school. This often leads to commitment to a specfic sport as Hertford gives children a wide variety of experiences.  These clubs provide children with a solid foundation of skills and we have seen children continue to develop these independently. 

 

We have many fantastic clubs at Hertford Juniors for our children to enjoy. We are pleased to be able to offer a wide range of activities each term and a letter will be sent out at the end of each term about the clubs in the following term. Most of our clubs will run for a term, unless stated otherwise. Applications should be made online using the link provided.

Numbers are limited so please help us by replying quickly.  We want to make it as fair as possible so that all children get access to clubs. We will do our best to allocate places fairly to everyone who applies by the deadline given.

We will send out individual confirmation letters to all who applied for places in clubs. Once you have confirmation that your child has a place at a club please see the information providedabout registering your child with the club provider and making your payment. Please do not assume that your child has a place but wait for the confirmation letter. If a club is oversubscribed, then we will put children without a place on a waiting list. We shall, of course, let you know if a pleace becomes available for your child.

Unfortunately, we are not generally able to assist with funding for places for children or offer staggered payments. If any family finds that the cost of an activity is preventing their child(ren) from taking part or would like to pay in instalments, please speak to the school and we may be able to help or offer some advice.

Please note that it is assumed that your child will attend each session of the club. If your child is unable to attend for any reason, please make sure that we have been advised of this by a parent/carer.
