Specialist Interventions
What specialist services and expertise are available at or accessed by the school:
BHISS - Brighton & Hove Inclusion Support Service, which includes: Educational Psychologists; family support workers; primary mental health workers; specialist SEND teachers and practitioners who support speech and language needs, pupils on the autistic spectrum and the behaviour of pupils with social, emotional and mental health needs.
Speech and Language Services: We cater for a range of children with special educational needs and our staff have training in line with the needs of the children. Staff are currently trained in, amongst other things, supporting the needs of learners who need extra support in reading, writing and maths; speech and language support; social skills/ friendship groups.
